Ok, this one is going over my head

Check out, for example Venezuela. Venezuela is an oil rich country that was at one time prosperous. It turned into a socialist country. And as a result of socialism, the populace cannot get the barest of necessities, including electricity, toilet paper, food, etc. The populace, by and large is dirt poor. But the aristocracy lives quite well.

Oh I see, now I understand. I remember watching an episode of Tucker Carlson where a young socialist was making excuses for why socialism was failing in Venezuela and he was claiming that the people actually wanted socialism.

So if toilet paper is pre-socialism...
