Guns 'n' Roses - 'Appetite for Destruction' (censored version)
Foreigner - '4'
Simon & Garfunkel - uh, my guess would be 'Sounds of Silence'?
Journey - their most popular one (I'm not really a fan)
Soft Cell(?) - no idea of the title
Electric Light Orchestra - 'Out of the Blue' (Still enjoy that album after all these years.)

hokeewolf said you'd like to set up a bad album art theme week? I'm good with co-sponsoring that. It might be a little late to promote for next week, and I'll be off of imgflip on vacation most of the week of July 23rd - 27th, so how about July 29th through August 4th?

Sure, sound good for that time. You got guns n roses appetite for destruction, foreigner 4, and elo out of the blue. Simon and garfunkel is correct but not that album. You correctly guessed all the artists though. :)

Soft Cell...you're right....would have never got that. But my sister would have.

Not a fan of any of the bands except ELO, but having lived through the decades they were prevalent I have no choice but knowing the basics. :D

It means I was born in the '60s, raised in the '70s, and unfortunately spent too much time in the '80s. :)

The week before the theme week we should both probably submit some advance promotional memes, but mostly I find getting it known by word-of-mouth works best. I'll keep in touch, probably get back to you next week about it. :)

I only knew it was Soft Cell because one guy had sunglasses and one guy had a mustache. XD It was either them or Sparks. XD XD

Same music. The original cover was deemed too risque. For a late-'80s metal band, yes. For a death metal or grindcore band of today it would be tame. :D I have an original vinyl copy with the censored artwork on the cover like in the meme, but the internal record sleeve had the original artwork on it.

My guess is WHAM, but that doesn't look like them.

Not WHAM, the one you're trying to guess was prominent in the UK from 1977-1984

I just looked at some tags, it was 18 months ago we did that!! Here's a link to all the 'tagged' album memes. I'll chat with Ken J and Dashhopes to see if they are willing to help set you up for bad album art week soon! Looks like KenJ had the idea the first time.
