Agreed - most of their skits were great. Especially when Tim Conway and Harvey Korman couldn't stop laughing at each other on stage.

It was contagious- the material was written by professionals.

THOSE were the days! :-)

Hi Dave!

Agreed - every thing Tim Conway did was hilarious.

Here's another skit I memed today: imgflip.com/i/2c6okv

I'm sure you'll remember this one; and enjoy the memory. :-)

The writers were great, but these clowns were part of the magic.

Everyone I've ever mentioned it to said they were laughing right along with them. :-)

Btw, today I did a sequel: imgflip.com/i/2c6okv

I hope you enjoy it as well.

She's been a favourite of mine for decades :-) Bob Mackie was her costume designer and he would rig up something like this out of anything he could find.

If you want to see some seriously funny stuff, YouTube "Carol Burnett Show Outtakes" --- some of the vids are pretty grainy but you'll laugh your arse off, guaranteed!

Wow - great info. I'm looking forward to the outtakes and don't mind the image quality.

Here's a related meme I did today: imgflip.com/i/2c6okv

I don't remember that one but I haven't seen the show since I was really young. But I always remember the went with the wind skit.

My mom dressed as this character for the daycare she worked for. They were having a Halloween costume contest.

She won.

She was so proud of it, too, since she sewed everything and made it by hand.

Just kidding - it's a great story and thanks for sharing! :-)
