Got my first ones about two years ago when I detached my vitreous humor. It was like I was looking through a fish bowl.

That sounds painful!
My left eye needs a smidge stronger prescription than my right, so I put them on and almost got sick. Turns out that the doctor typo'd a minus (-) instead of a plus (+). lol Thank goodness they figured it out, because I was NOT going to wear them otherwise. I finally got the right strength, and I'm good now. Yeah it does seem a little like a fishbowl, so it's hard to get used to.

It didn't hurt, but it was weird because I saw orange fireworks in my upper vision, then later after straining to look over my shoulder while backing out I saw a huge glob in the inner corner of my vision. I was afraid I had detached my retina. Thankful I didn't!

And speaking of looking good - did you complete the face reveal you promised? If so I must have missed it. The one I remember was just the eyes.

I did the partial reveal (the eyes) at the 500k mark, and I was going to do the full reveal at the million point mark. BUT... now I'm thinking I won't. lol I haven't decided. :-)

First of all I look for the used pedals (there are a lot of them out there). But I did just spend a little over $200 for a WMD Geiger Counter, which is a waveform generator. That's the second most I've spent on anything related to my noise.

I was cured of my shortsightedness in a mosh pit 25 years ago. Got to close to the action, got bumped and my glasses flew off into the center where I knew they'd be destroyed, so I didn't bother looking. And since then I haven't needed any. So....go find yourself a mosh pit, giveuahint...
