Always add captions to a creation you intend to submit. If it's an image that already has captions, either find the corresponding blank image using Google image search and add captions in the meme generator, or add a caption to the existing that makes it funnier. Hope that helps.

They're all my own creations here, at least the submissions. I may use pre-captioned images as comment replies, but that's it. :)

Okay, just trying to help figure out what happened and why this one didn't feature.

I looked for an IMAGE DESCRIPTION: like the one shown in my meme comment here. When you enter captions in the meme generator, the same characters are also supposed to show up there in the image description.

That being said I have occasionally seen rare glitches, where captions from another meme will show up in the image description of your meme. That has happened to me on one of my memes, I have also seen one other meme with that kind of glitch before.

If that was the case here, that is a possible explanation why your meme didn't feature. If your creation ended up with visible captions in the image and none in the image description, that is a reason a moderator might not have approved it.

In cases like this, my suggestion would be to remake and resubmit the meme if it's important to you.

Well, I make mine, but some of them I /pre/-make in photoshop, (especially when I want to get it made but I'm out of submissions for the day), so I suppose that could be an issue, though some of them have gotten featured. Maybe it comes down to which mod is on the job at the time.

Might also explain why my tribute to Harry Anderson never got featured, even though I tried to submit it twice.

OK. Just for demonstration purposes, I recreated your meme exactly in the meme generator with captions added to a blank image and submitted it. It has featured, so reallyitsjohn's idea that a mod had seen the joke before might not be the reason yours didn't feature. There are users I know who have tried it the pre made way outside imgflip and have had similar problems getting their stuff to feature. It took me about a year to figure out why it would happen to me. Please take my advice and always add captions to the meme creations you intend to submit using the meme generator. Yep, seems you're right, that must be a major consideration. Though like I said, some do get through, but again that may be a matter of which mod is on the job at the time. Maybe there's one who lets them through.

Sometimes trolls dv a meme as soon as it features. By the time you check it , it looks like it never featured. After about 24 hours , even friend's upvotes don't seem to get it featured.

True, but even now it only has 10 views as well, it would have more than that if it featured for even a short period of time, I think

It's hard to know for sure. Imgflip really should say why a particular meme doesnt feature. Or if it gets knocked back to submitted. :-)

To be honest, I've seen this joke a LOT in the latest, and in the terms it says they are subject to moderation for reposts. You may have gotten mod that felt they had seen the joke too often. Its the only thing I could think of.

Nope, you are totally right !!! I missed that the captions weren't there... that's a red flag of the mods.

Never seen it in there myself, but that's entirely possible.
