When will this madness end?

A total of 1678 children aged five and under died of a gunshot wound between 1999 and 2016, including 184 infants under the age of one, 223 one-year-olds and 294 two-year-olds, according to data from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.

Should we do something about cars, bathtubs, bunk beds, bicycles, swimming pools, etc. too? Accidents happen.

How many swimming pools are involved in a mass killing? How many bicycles are used for a mass killing? America bans Kinder Eggs because it considers them a danger to children, but finds it acceptable for children to die on a regular basis, sometimes in mass shootings for the right for anyone to carry guns. That is madness.

Oddly enough, mass shooting only happen in places where guns aren't supposed to be allowed. There are more instances of shooters and potential shooters being stopped by bystanders with guns than there are of mass shootings.

If every adult man and woman were required by law to carry a firearm there would be no more mass shootings in America. The psychology that empowers mass shooters would be erased. Every single one of them preys on the weak and unarmed. Take away the prey and the predator will cease to exist. The answer isn't disarmament, but empowerment. Every gun free zone should be made into an Armed Security Zone, and I don't mean a solitary rent-a-cop.

Double lol!!!! Think of what you are saying, militarising schools, children's playgrounds, libraries, hospitals, the local park, train stations, who wants to live in a society like that.

If everyone in America had HIV, then no one would need to worry about catching the virus.

Guns aren't a disease. In respect to mass shootings they're even the cure.

I'd say most gun owners with concealed carry licenses wouldn't mind. There are plenty of people that just walk around with guns and you'd never even know it. If criminal records were taken into account and law abiding citizens were required to be armed the US would be the safest country in the world.

Every one of those places you mentioned would be safer if the law abiding adults were armed. When bad things happen what do people do now? Run, or stand around recording on their phones. Doing bad things would have consequences. When a bystander tells someone who is breaking the law to stop, even police, it would actually mean something.

It's not a militarization. It's the opposite. It would be the most empowering thing a government has ever done for its citizens. It would be a guarantee that our military is never used irresponsibly against us. Politicians and Government leaders would be forced to respect us and the will of the people would be the driving force of our nations agenda, not personal money grabbing like it has been since the first Bush took office.
