I told you all you accomplished on here was making money for whoever runs this place. After your neck surgery you needed a hobby I got that. But you felt like you owed this place after that and posted original material on here for anybody to steal. At least on reddit you can go viral and maybe boost your career.

I know you are still pissed at me but you know how I feel about wasting talent and material. Seeing you concentrate so much time on doing good here was like watching George Carlin tell jokes through twitter with 6 followers!

Honestly you are lucky I felt a month of fact checking all that junk by yourself was punishment enough. You probably should have waited until after my contract renewal to try and twist my thoughts about something I was loyal to.

I gotta say your buddies were good at finding out how easily this site can be manipulated. You didn't have to use lies to try and manipulate my actions about it though. You may know everything about how I write and my sense of humor. I just thought that in all the time we have known each other that you would have known the truth was more than enough to get me to see your side. If reposts were thought of here the way sites like reddit see them nobody would repost shit. Oh no you have to believe if only people knew how lacking in honor they appear that they would stop instantly and thank you for telling them as well.

I've told you before lazy people only care about what they can get without effort. If they could get more than points and credit for a repost they would. They would happily take money out of another persons pocket for their ideas and then toast their own work ethic during the celebration.

For a guy with a sense of humor that can reach almost everybody. You can be clueless when it comes to the way most people without your talent will gladly use you for it if you let them. This site has under 20 truly talented people on it, the rest are all only here trying to learn what can't be taught. The worst part of all that being this site operates in a way that lets untalented people believe they are in fact talented.

I've watched you try and teach people to be creative on here and you helped some find their potential I guess. I got tired of watching them hold you back is all. My methods were poor but I succeeded in opening your eyes through them. Who cares what people here think when they don't appreciate the creativity in you that helped me pay for my house!

I have to believe it is about more than that. If I was as cynical as you I think it would kill my sense of humor you just complimented. In our line of work we are used to going unnoticed while somebody gets paid huge amounts to pretend our words are their thoughts. Sure we get paid and a credit at the end, but it's not us the audience remembers or even thinks about, yet without us nobody would watch the actor say what is on their mind. I'd still much rather be a writer than an actor though, mainly because I suck at pretending and being famous is for people that want that much attention. I want the things I create to get attention not me if you get where I am coming from. We've met famous people and seen how people admire what they say regardless of how stupid it is. You know damn well you would be miserable if your ass was kissed. That's why you like me because I never tell you something you want to hear I tell you what you need to hear. Some people I guess only listen to what they want to hear, they can justify anything if it suits their purpose, I'd rather be real no matter the consequences....

I agree with you, I think good comedy comes from a childlike innocence. The innocence that allows you to believe others will giggle at your farts.

Plus learning which farts get a laugh and which ones make people throw up in their mouths ;)

Well.. we have literally written books together so it tends to happen between us. We can't text each other we have to email lol. That way we each get to respond before the other is writing something else haha!

I enjoyed the read so it was fun.

Let me tell you a little bit about Jake not this Jying guy he plays on a meme site. I'm forbidden from sharing details about work, business is the farthest thing from what is important to him anyway no matter how hard I try to change it. He has this ability to read people I wish I could emulate all the time. He can't stand to be in a room with negative unhappy people he has to find a way to change that mood. I believe that is why he is so good at coming up with jokes on the fly. A lifetime of finding a way to make somebody laugh when it is the last thing they feel like doing.

The guy wakes up from having major neck surgery and looks around at a room full of concerned serious people. His woman at the time, whom I now despise if he has told you anything about his sons mother you know why. Now dude is doped up to the gills, has this tube draining blood out of the incision in his neck and I tell ya just lookin at him hurt me. Now this little thing he was with is 10 years younger than him and I can tell she is shook up by how he looks. We all were a little bit I mean it was spinal cord surgery and there was a risk he might lose the feeling to his right arm completely.

She asks him, oh how did she put it.... Something like, can you still feel everything like you want? With a completely straight face and without a pause he is like, I'm not sure yet give me your hand babe please. He takes her hand and puts it under the covers and the next thing I know she is like HONEY in this half shocked half laughing voice. Without missing a beat he is like, well that's a relief I guess the nurse didn't touch it after all during that sponge bath!

Just like that he broke the tension in the room and made his woman a lot less freaked out than she was. That's the kind of guy he is, most people in that much pain wouldn't even consider how anybody else felt in that moment. Instead this guy is making jokes in order to take the stress off of his at the time pregnant fiance, not to mention the rest of us who were supposed to be there to make him feel better.

You don't get to meet many people like him in a lifetime at least I haven't. I think my wife likes him better than me sometimes! Luckily she is a good hard working woman so he would never fall for her lmao!

He is probably going to kill me for sharing that with you. I know he admires you though so I thought you should know that if he considers you a friend you should consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

That sounds like him. If he's anything like he is as an online friend in real life, you got lucky as hell. We've had a lot of fun the last few years bouncing wild shit off of each other. Sometimes he hits me with stuff I absolutely don't get (especially after the surgery with the pain meds) but I go with it, and as we go it hits me how funny it is! I missed bouncing stuff off of him and him hitting me upside the head with his stuff for the past year. That's why I'm saddened quite a bit to see him losing interest in the site, but I do understand why. In the end we both care about the site and the community could be just as much fun as it once was, even with new names on it. It just takes some work.

He is the best friend I've got by far. Luckily he is so wrapped up with his kids he doesn't get out much. You know on top of everything he homeschools his kids right? My wife never acted like she wanted kids until he started bringing lil man over to our house. Next thing I know she refuses to sleep with me unless it's to make one of our own. Might thank him for that someday when mine is finally old enough to let me sleep in again.

It's mostly my fault he has lost faith in this site sorry. I just couldn't take it how everybody loved everything that raydog guy made even if he was phoning it in. Then I check my mans memes and they have like 50 views wtf? If J was that popular on here I would still feel like he was wasting his talent but to have the site seem indifferent to his posts pissed me off.

You know how to make the funny I have seen this. I know it sucked for J when you took your sabbatical if you weren't back right now I am not sure he would be on here at all. I wouldn't worry too much, he's disappointed with the place right now sure, but he hasn't posted a thing on any of his other accounts except fark.com his fav photoshop contest place today.

I never wanted him to quit being on here, I only wanted him to figure out his talent deserves a larger audience that shows him more love than he gets around here. That and I'd like to at least see some of the stuff he wants to post for free before he posts it. I can't sell a joke that's already online and he comes up with stuff I could get some small time comedians to dish out money for now and then.
