The campaign for a shorter comment timer is over. So did it do anything?

Not sure if changing the site's functionality is a moderator's responsibility. It may not be in their job description.

Sounds more like a Webmaster or programmer would handle it, no?

Does anyone know the extent of the moderator's responsibilities here? After all, we can only blame them for so much... :-)

I assume there is someone, somewhere who takes orders from someone somewhere. WE like to call them "the powers that be" since they are so mysterious and elusive. LOL. Either way, it would be nice if the would give us a measly minute before trying to shut us up in the middle of a great comment war.
