I can't remember the name. I saw that the account had been deleted sometime after I posted a response to said mod. It was on that one post that was going on where someone mentioned people up voting themselves from alt accounts. A mod commented and then deleted their account. It was weird.

Hmmm, I don't think I know that one, only acuity12 and Imgflip (except that it doesn't say that they're a mod but it's pretty obvious)

There was a new account that added MOD to their username, but wasn't green, so was bogus. I was gonna report them, but lost it checking something else out.

Really? I didn't know that, maybe that's why it had been deleted. The Mods got wind of it and gave them the ax! How do you tell a Mod from the regular folk? They have a green symbol?

I just saw one on your page. I wouldn't know a mod if I saw one. Well, I did see ONE because in their screen name it said they were a mod. I suppose they all would have that now that I think about it. I think we could get them to shorten this time if enough of us participate. It's just a matter of getting anyone to do it! I feel goofy being the only one! LOL!

I've been contributing comments to it. I blew my self-righteous wad when I did a downvote timer campaign about a year ago. But...maybe I'll come up with something. I am rather low on the creativity lately and need a theme for a boost. It's why it was all chicken memes for me last week. XD

Did that one work? Or was it fruitless?

AndrewFinlayson told me recently that he thinks it may have had an effect, but I never was contacted by any moderator about it, which has happened in the past when others have agitated for change. My own downvote/comment timer issues have been lax lately, but I chalked that up to avoiding some users in the political spectrum.

Lord yes. Any political friction definitely makes a difference. Of course, I only turn away from a debate when the other person comes at me with a baseball bat. I refuse to entertain hostility.

I can't imagine them contacting anyone. I know in the beginning after I first became active I sent an email or two and never received a response. I would die of shock if they sought me out. LOL.

Apparently Masq got one commenting on one of her comment timer memes. Telling her to stop sending all the feedback. XD I used to feel that the mods needed to be less aloof and more involved, but in the last year I've come to realize the hands-off approach is actually better. I go peek in at sites like reddit for whatever reason and I'm amazed at all the anal-retentiveness on display. I can't imagine being part of a discussion group where so few people have so much power. I think imgflip is enough social media for me.
