Yes, that was me. It's not Photoshop, but has many of the same features and seems easy to use. And best of all it's FREE.

The free software is called paint.net, recommended by coollew to me. you can see by his memes what can be done. It's no secret he's one of my very favorites.

He also recommended a great installer that does everything, including saying NO to all bloatware (toolbars, etc...). This one is called Ninite and I like it a lot. You just check the one(s) you want (paint.net and/or dozens of other useful FREE utilities)) and click install. Done.

Thanks! I was racking my brain trying to remember the name of the site! I only have Microsoft Paint right now and that's not always as good as I want it to be. I appreciate you posting it again for me!

I will still use MS Paint for quick stuff like a crop or resize. But it's nice to have the flexibility of paint.net for when I need the high power features.

Not sure if a DV removes an UV though. Are you sure it works that way?

Does "easier methods" include stolen memes from other meme sites, Twitter, Reddit, pinterest, etc...? Cause that's what I see the most of here anymore. Creativity is a rarity here anymore.

Probably. Still a noob (almost 2 months) so I haven't seen that kind of stuff. Plus, this is the only 'social' site I frequent. I guess it would go right over my head.

I tried another meme site a few months ago. Submitted a single meme and got over 2,000 views. Then I made imgFlip my home and now get between 25 and 35 views per meme. This one is an exception though. Must have hit a nerve!

Btw, the single meme was Picard WTF. With the outstretched hand. The text was. "How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?" Only 170 views on imgFlip. Maybe there are less users? Sometimes I can almost hear crickets when browsing my memes.

I prefer the generator here, so I'm screwed.

It's getting to where the majority that you see on the front page are just stolen memes from other sites anymore. Sad. Met a lot of great people on here in the time that I've been a memeber, but sadly many of them have left because of the pressure of trying to be on the front page, or get enough points (which are meaningless), or just trying to come up with 3 submissions everyday. The thing is, they chose to simply quit rather than start blatantly stealing others work off of other sites. I respect that so much more. Think about how hard it is to come up with anything at all, much less something good that will do well! Then to see all these lazy, unoriginal vultures swoop in and call it their own. At least when I started they TRIED to hide it by changing up the caption a bit. Now it's literally the same image AND caption! I point it out and a MOD for this site (who according to their account just started here) calls me a troll for calling out a thief! LMAO!! Didn't bother asking me if it was originally MY meme that was stolen from another site! LOL!! Getting crazy round here! Hang on to your memes!!
