Maybe because mysoginists consider the 364 (or 365 for bissextile years) other days “men’s days”?
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
Sorry, but only misandrists would think that somehow every other day completely focuses on men.
reply
3 ups, 1 reply
I don’t think like that... I just don’t find it relevant to demand a special day for men...
reply
4 ups, 2 replies
I don't find it relavent to demand a special day for women. If we want equality, the start of that isn't giving special privileges to the "oppressed" gender, but actually fighting for equality.

I beg to differ. It's a lot more of a grass is greener type of thing, just small little things that are better or worse than the other gender.

And not just because the city mows it less frequently!

After all we did for them:

1. Brought them here for free

2. Taught them a trade

3. Fought a war to free them in the 1860s

4. Sought to give them equal rights in the 1960s

5. Bought them 40s and 45s with Food Stamps WE pay for!

And what thanks do we get? BLM just because some get shot a lot frequently by white cops!
SO!?! Why don't they complain about Chicago? HUH? HUH?

If you do it again, I'll downvote you so bad that your great grandkids won't be able to comment. That sound reasonable?

No. Just because a lot of crimes are caused by black people doesn't mean that a lot of black people are criminals. All it means is that it's more likely for a criminal to be black.
0 ups
No surprise from someone who keeps replying to THEMSELF, but as was already explained to you, most criminals in the US are W-H-I-T-E.

I was also playing off the fact that you seem to stalk me across multiple memes whenever I do so much as leave an argument on a thread you're in.
reply

1: your clearly a stalker at this point.

2: the "blacks get shot more than whites"statistic comes from the fact that black people commit a disproportionately large amount of crimes compared to white people
1 up
As for your #2. alleged "statistic" and fake fact - um, no.

The disproportion is WITHIN the population of so-called Blacks, as in rate, percentage.
But in terms of actual numbers, so-called Whites commit more crimes. The prison population reflects this, although even that is skewed:

More 'Whites' are arrested for capital crimes than 'Blacks' are, yet more 'Blacks' are convicted for them as well as recieve longer and more punitive sentences.

Likewise with getting shot at. Notice how the Fla school shooter - just like the rest them (and incidentally, typically 'White'), was not killed by the police. You think if he was darker that would have been the case?
Or maybe if he was walking out of a candy store sipping a Pepsi? Yah?

You're a basic one trick pony, ain'tcha?

YOU posted on an 11 month old meme of mine the other week just to remind me what a pesky gnat you are after I tore your ass up late December.
YOU cried foul after I merely replied. Then YOU posted again on another.
When I replied to that, YOU sought out top memers to assist you.
YOU even submitted a meme calling for no more political memes, asking me to go along.
YOU then posted FOUR comments to me on diff dead memes, and yet AGAIN sobbed when I replied.
YOU called me stalker.

YOU apologized days later when it was over and forgotten.

I saw YOU pester someone the other day, was gonna say something, but was busy with something else and it got lost when I came back.

And here YOU go yet again.

How bout growing a pair and shoving them in your stupid mouth.

Everything you say is so true! That's why only us whites (and whiggers like you, homie) should be allowed to have guns!

Also, I was referring to women, not blacks. I gave Octavia the point of BHM.

Thank you, jack. I geuss black people don't actually get shot more than white people. Your last paragraph proved that pretty well.

So you're saying everything you say is not true?

I'll give you the BLM thing because that makes sense, but women's day is NOT treated like BLM. Most every day of the year, it seems as if there is a group dedicated to pointing out every little flaw in a women's life and magnify it. It's really sad, and I wish people would understand that at this point it's a grass is greener scenario.

I don’t know on which you are if you think it is a “privilege” to have a day to remind the world of all the struggle women faced to get a society like we have today.
reply
2 ups
How does a annual reminder of pain and shame help us to be more equal?
reply
1 up
If facing struggle is the criteria for receiving recognition, then men also deserve recognition. If you believe that men do not, then you need to re-evaluate your reasoning. You have a right to feel how you feel. But your reasoning needs tweaking.

You seem to be alone on the thought of celebrating women's day by congratulating those who fought to end oppression. Instead, it seems as if it's a fest of complaining about the wage gap, **pe culture, and every other feminist complaint in the world. The point I'm trying to make is that they're not opposed now, but everybody tries to perpetuate that the life of a women is a freaking concentration camp!
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
My point here was simply to say that, if this meme was not ironic, to have a men’s day was not as relevant as a women’s day (or maybe it is a women’s rights day?)
reply
1 up, 2 replies
I don't actually want a men's day. I'm trying to say that I don't understand having a women's day. The Battle's over. Don't need to have a day promoting awareness for a war over pet peeves.

**pists get shanked in prison. Probably a good indication that in general, men hate **pists. It’s pathetic. If we could, most normal men would choose to have them killed or severely punished and ostracized from society. They’re weak and don’t deserve to procreate.

I'm sorry, but that's simply wrong. Sure, many do treat it that way, but the overall message is that it's to raise awareness of the oppression that women face. And if the criteria is having accomplishments, why don't we also have an international men's day?
reply

So all these 'women' issues (as you paint them to be) get squeezed into one single solitary day of the year, and you're crying about it?

Good. Now if you can do something about spreading attention for these various matters throughout other days, maybe, OH NO!, the whole dang year, things will be cool with you?
reply

1/365 days in the year for a couple of myths known as "feminist issues?" Sounds like every other holiday ever. Nobody complains that the only time we care about Santa is Christmas time. Nobody cares that the only time we care about the Easter Bunny is Easter. Why are these myths any different from the others?

Celebrate women's day by celebrating women, not their imaginary extra hurdles. Thank you for doing so.

The kid on the playground who’s always complaining that someone else has a toy they want is both never happy and someone nobody wants to be around. In other words, neofeminism is the perfect mindstate in which to exist miserable and alone.

In all of history there has never been any group more oppressed than women. Any group you can name, the women of that group had it worse. That said, annual reminders of oppression (gender, race or whatever) are not liberating for anyone, and draw our collective focus to a negative purpose.
