A pacifist is a person who believes that war and violence are unjustifiable. Been there done that, solved nothing built more hate. That said everyone should be able to defend themselves. Once you see what happens to a village when only one side owns the guns, your will carry one everywhere you go for the rest of your life.

Since you are so worried about children you can hold a sign outside of an abortion clinic tomorrow and let congress know that aborting 1800+ kids a day is to many, but you do not care because most are minorities.

So cells in the womb deserve full protection but kids at school are an unfortunate by product of allowing people to own guns. Strange way to look at things, I fight for the right of the unborn to life but I'll defend the (ambiguous) 2nd amendment over the life of grown children.

You are only fooling yourself. The number of school age children that face real danger is massive, gangs and out of control children will harm many times more kids than a firearm. I have yet to see a plan to handle violent children. Once you add up the numbers that will fall to drugs, wreaks, sports, even drowning, the possibility of a weapon used at at school rapidly becomes a solution looking for a problem. The 300 million weapons already among the people are going no where, 99.99% will never harm anyone. If you want to protect schools, great do that, start with policy changes and target the real threats (other students) demand a wall, closed borders and anti gang police at every school. The kids should have more protection than city hall.
