Get with the program, St.Louis Missouri is Number 1 in the nation, Followed by Baltimore,MD, New Orleans, LA, Detroit, MI, Cleveland,OH, Kansas City, KS, Memphis, TN, THEN Chicago, IL. Closing out the top ten is Cincinatti, OH and Las Vegas, NV.

The sad part is nobody cares about the high murder rate anymore.

C'mon, you can say it.

1. 1994 - 2001 as a while ago. We've had 2 other Mayors since. Out current Mayor, Bill de Blasio, on his 2nd term, is an unabashed uber liberal.

2. Giuliani having homeless men arrested for squegeee cleaning car windows is debatable in terms of denting other crime activity.

3. The crack epidemic was 'concidentally' winding down then, and given that he was Mayor of NYC, and not President of the USA - as awesome as the Big Apple is - doubt the rest of the USA follows local trends here that much otherwise this gun fetish and shooter stuff wouldn't be an issue. Also, crime rates have dipped significantly lower since his tenure ended.
