The Constitution does not 'give' rights, but instead really sets the restrictions on the Govt from taking rights away.... at least that's what it's supposed to do; however most people have been duped into believing the Govt must 'give' rights... a Revolutionary War was fought over this, and now few people seem to realize that it's always been about restriction the GOVT, not the people....
