It might not stop all gun violence, but it serves as a deterrent and makes guns harder to find if not impossible, pretending that just because laws don't solve for 100% of the issue means that they are irrelevant and useless is intellectually dishonest. Murder laws don't solve for 100% of murder, just legalize murder!
