I don't believe that's typical. Most girls don't want an attached nan.
Also, I can say from experience that "I have a boyfriend/husband" often doesn't help. The number of times I've heard "He ain't gotta know" is sickening.

I don't doubt you hear that often. I just know I've had my number of experience with women & unfortunately the quote which comes to mind often which is something I've seen & experienced often is "1 bad apple makes the entire bunch look real bad".

Girls don't want an attached man? Well, here in my life, whenever one of my friends gets a girlfriend, all the sudden, half the 'available' girls in a 50 meter radius become inexplicably attracted to him.
