Chromosome 46 DOES determine gender though. And the others were also incorrect. Why weren't they thrown out?

Somatic chromosomes are paired and numbered 1 to 22. Sex chromosomes are not numbered, they are labeled X and Y. Some people do not have 46 chromosomes, but they still have a gender. So saying “chromosome #46” is technically incorrect. I could go on but I feel I’ve said too much already.

The other two can be thrown out the window too for all I care.

Suppose Caitlin/Bruce Jenner committed a crime and left DNA at the crime scene. Forensics would be able to determine certain facts about that DNA sample. So would they determine that the DNA came from a male or a female?

Answer: Male. So Bruce will always be Bruce. I don't dislike people who for some psychological reason believe that they are something that they aren't. A man can pretend to be a woman all he wants and I really don't care, but I resent when they try to force me to believe that a man can magically turn into a woman. It just doesn't happen.
