I'm sorry, but Santa is Not a pre-Christian pagan tradition. Also, neither is turkey, as it is a north American bird and could not have been absorbed into tradition until it was discovered. I agree that most Christmas traditions are pre-Christian pagan, and that most traditions have nothing to do with the celebration of the birth of Christ.

It isn't even accurate. To name the most obvious error, St. Nicholas (upon whom Santa Claus is based) lived in the 4th century A.D.
