Down With Downvotes Weekend Dec 8-10

Since submissions have to be approved by someone at Imgflip, once a submission is approved, only the original poster of the image should be able to pull it from public view. This does, however, explain why the political memes are rather one sided. This policy merits re-examination in light of the site claim of being in favor of "freedom of expression." It is time for imgflip to live up to that laudable value.

Thank you. I have made a meme and it has yet to be approved (it has been several hours (as of this comment)). The question of course now is, why is it taking so long?

Not a huge logical leap...person(s) A are misusing right or function B so well take away everyone's ability to have & use right or function B.

Saying that something is perfectly fine just because it is legal is stupid.

Yeah I occasionally downvote hateful and inappropriate memes. But for every one upvote or downvote I cast, trolls cast ten with their alt accounts. No more downvotes!
