I just realized that political memes are just easy bait. You'll get bash for saying something super liberal but get praise for something conservative. I mean that's how I've seen it go down here in Imgflip. Reason why I left here was I found Know Your Meme more appealing.

I am proud to say I was the first to meet him at a page 9 party. He jumped right in and held his own with us. I knew he would rise fast but not how fast. I've seen too many good memers disappear. Sucks he deleted his profile so we can't go back over his stuff like I do some of the others that stopped doing this.

I wish I had some of his information so I could still get to talk to him, he was overall a great memer. I can't believe he did unannounced. I'm glad that you got to know him better than I did. I talked to him occasionally but those were great conversations. I wish I could still have the same feeling. I hope what ever he goes on to do he does well.

I wasn't expecting him to delete his account, but I'm out of the loop around here. I have always said nobody should delete their account. There is a great history to this place and to memes and when I see a huge account full of memes like that disappear it makes me sad. Now when I go back and read my comments he will be another deleted account comment I will have to try and remember who posted. Won't be easy with him though he personalized a lot of stuff. I just hate reading a funny comment from back when I started and having no idea who left it. Anybody who really cares about memes should go back and view Invicta and reallyitsjohns profile, or if they just want to laugh really hard. Entertainer28 left before I got here but he has some good stuff that predates me by far.

Times like these keep me here because I know some, not many, will miss me.

There is no point in doing this if it doesn't make you happy. People that make memes for points don't usually last long no matter how fast they rise on the board. You have to love making people laugh to keep making stuff like this. For me it's all about creating something new, or just seeing if I can. I''l get an idea to photo shop something while commenting and spend an hour making a comment because I like doing it. I've always been a little off though ;)

You have to find what it is about this that keeps you coming back and focus on that. For me it's friends and creativity, nothing else matters because I will have those things here no matter what.

This site isn't a competition, plus the game is rigged anyway, so why let it bother you or ruin your experience here. People will always try and make you lose your love for something if you are better at it than they are. Don't let anybody take something like that away from you. If you don't love it, losing it shouldn't bother you ;)

Your words, dang dude. I stay here to know that one day I'm gonna say something and put a smile on somebodys face. I stay here for the occasionally laugh, the confusion. It's a good site, a good community but there is times you got to take a break. Even though I am not a creative person people come for me. Not just my memes. That's what drives me to login everyday. I may not make a meme, or type out a comment, but I always gave a upvote, I'm always here but at the same time I am not. I have my activity spikes and when people are glad to see me back it shows that someone out there cares. :)

Not creative... really.. I don't think somebody could make that many memes without some creativity. There's politics in anything that involves popularity, sometimes taking a break from it is the only way to prove it can't own you. But it's late and I'm just some meme making fool anyways.

And if this account that the glorious glitch thrust upon me when it locked me out of TMOL earns enough points i think the next icon is the rainbow star. smh If ghost was ticked enough to not only quit but delete...man...crap...y'all hang in as long as it makes sense for you but this situation...ugh. My hopefully super extremely rare situation with the tech (but i've come to be very wary of imgfuzzy on that level too) really is that way and won't hit anyone else. Unless it's like my case where it was a very quick handy way of getting to the realization that it's time to pretty much quit anyway.

Not my experience. Guy jumped in at me from minute 2 on the flip. Still a dijck from what I see. Dude is weird (or motivated in some odd fashion). Craziness used to be nice to me. Now - not. So who can tell?

Yeah, I know what he said. I tried to tell him it could have been someone following the memers who he thought was downvoting him, there's really no way for anyone other than a mod to look up who that was. I communicate with ghost occasionally outside of imgflip, both before he deleted his account and also after. I told him one of my regrets is that perhaps I've said too much to him or not enough to him about the situation he was in, kind of like I might have said the wrong thing at the wrong time or not the right thing at the right time. I think it would have been better for imgflip if he had just gone inactive, in the end he had his reasons for deleting and that was his decision. When I was a new user, ghost, memester, Olympian were some of the memers who I followed alot, there were some great Page 9 parties and other fun stuff like ghost's scavenger hunts and 2016 imgflip awards. I don't think anyone would or even could do stuff like that again. Imgflip has changed a lot since I've been here, some good things, some bad things. Users come and go, my time to go might come someday too.

i liked him. he was a cool guy. this was one of his comments to me and i thought it was really nice. when the imgflip awards came round i didn't care cause this was cooler. i guess this makes me a hipster... i got an award before there was an imgflip award.. i got THE G.O.C. comment of the night award.

The awards were a cool event. I really liked his scavenger hunts too. I wish he had just gone inactive.
