don't understand all this hatred against Trump. There is nothing he has done, over the past 10 months of his term, that has affected the quality of my life (or anyone else with whom I associate).

But the constitution does not only protect Christianity. Every citizen in this country has an independent right to practice any belief, religious or otherwise. How exactly has your life been affected in the past 10 months? I am very interested in receiving a rational explanation to that!

So your chief concern is any legislation that legally permits an individual to choose not to be involved in something that runs contrary to their own values? Or that protects a person's right not to have another person's moral code forced onto them?

That ship has sailed. The SCOTUS made it's ruling and it's over, DOMA is dead and buried. That pendulum isn't going to start swinging back the other way anytime soon. And to extend that metaphor, the best that those of us on the right can hope for at this point, is too keep it from swinging too far, or we'll have marriage licenses for Man and Irish Setter, or worse. Some people are already talking about defining the "rights" of AIs, and SkyNet isn't even self-aware yet.

Take heart, because your concerns really are unfounded.

Kim Davis was tossed in jail for Contempt of Court, and Roy Moore's order was struck down AND he was suspended from his post as Chief Justice as a result of that order.

We are a nation of laws whether they like it or not (and whether you believe it or not), and same-sex marriage is now the law. Anyone who violates the law should be (and have been) punished accordingly.

So again, not really seeing anything worth wringing your hands in worry about.

I'm still not seeing where there's a worrisome problem. The system works if you just let it work. People defy the law, and then they are punished (unless your name is Clinton, of course). My advice is to relax, and stop worrying about problems that aren't really problems. Just my $0.02

In fairness, I think Paltrow voted for Trump. She said it was 'an exciting time to be an American' with loads of new business opportunities, and refused to answer the question of whom she had picked as her candidate. So, in Hollywood terms, she's in the basket of deplorables and worse than Hitler. Great meme, gets an up-vote, but it's just the wrong silly actress in the snap. Not that I'm bitter because my Streep-Weinstein meme was rejected twice by the Academy running this site. :-( My Paltrow one went through, though. Reckon Meryl is on the moderation team.
