This may come as a shock, but not every disease has a cure. Some diseases are chronic, and all you can do is treat them and keep them under control.

Fortunately, I haven't been diagnosed with it. But I have diabetes that is hereditary. My father died from it. And it's been said that there is a cure for it. Possibly even more than one. But the doctors and big pharmaceutical companies keep denying it! They just write out prescription after prescription, and keep billing us for the visits to their offices, among other things.
I am truly sorry about your diagnosis, good sir! Please know that I mean no disrespect whatsoever!

Don't worry Doc, there's plenty of other ailments out there; besides: if your patients die of cancer they won't visit you anymore.
