I always did until recently! Seems no one else would do it :(

I still upvote nearly all comments on my memes (except spam or really stupid/negative comments).

Hopefully they ain't that stupid????

I upvote all comments on my memes, and like you not the stupid ones that are just trying to troll and instigate! I use to upvote every comment on memes I commented on too! :)

Most of the time I just have enough time for the comments and upvotong the ones I'm with. I try and hit a lot of people and memes in a day so I don't upvote all the comments consonantly. If I see a super awesome thread I do or if I have time, I'm bad I know, its my memeing fault.

Everybody appreciates your comments and attention that you pay to all the memers. I've just noticed lately that uv's (not just my comments, but in general all the way around) are down from the "good ol' days."

8 to 10 upvotes on top comments was common place, or higher

Like Dash I try and comment on as many people as I can and it does take some time to come up with a witty relevant comment.

I do on my memes and also on memes I comment on, once in a while there are a few exceptions.

Seems like a courtesy amongst the longtimers here

I sincerely hope that this meme is not perceived as begging for upvotes. It's just commentary that I've observed that comments on most people's memes seem to be getting considerably less upvotes than traditionally in the past.

I know you're not campaigning. It's a good meme by the way.

None of my memes have ever made the front page. But that's not what the fun part is about Imgflip. It's a blast (at least to me) to just get into a thread and banter. Even if I don't enter into a thread, it's so funny and addictive to just watch everyone go back and forth. And so I, personally take the time to upvote as much as I can. Even the comments. And I think it's also reassuring to those out there who don't think their stuff is all that when they get upvotes. It gives them hope to come back and keep trying.
