Know what your rights are, but know what they aren't, too

I believe anyone who goes up against the police in a violent manner should be prosecuted to the highest extent! At least when they initiate it, as the guys are apparently doing in that third shot

I'm not sure where that photo was taken, but I think it's a safe be that it was somewhere in the middle-east. Feel free to correct me if that is wrong. In any case, it wasn't in the United States or any of it's territories. That being the case, it seems to me to be wholly irrelevant.

I will nevertheless concede your point. Yes, there are governments in the world that make a regular habit of oppressing their people, murdering them en masse, and committing all manner of atrocities and they get away with it because they are the masters of those places. And it's a damn tragedy, and I'd love to be able to do something about it. Do you have any suggestions? Because we've tried military force, direct diplomacy, and economic coercion, and none of them exactly has a great track record of success.

They are our enemies. So no.

But I do not like the idea of maskedvmen in black deluvering "swift and overwhelming justice" no group of human beings has ever done it in a good way. I dont care what ideology anyone aligns themselves with, the act is the same thing. The same way we see ISIS as masked evil in black -- they see that bottom picture. Where they live, the see it just like this meme. Its wrong on both sides, like our president has said. The goal should be justice means never needing to see any of these pictures. Not promoting the ideological conflicts. Just my .02 -- and yeah, I know whos gonna be beheading me if I make a wrong turn in the desert.

I guess it's fine if all your seeing is the bottom picture of the cops in riot gear. I guess that could be scary, taken by itself. Personally, the third one scares me more.

But you should look at the meme as a whole. I chose each of those four photographs with equal care, and phrased the captions very precisely, to make a point. When you focus on only one of them, then you're taking the whole thing out of context, and missing the point I'm making.
