What I do know is that the original protestors tried to get permits, but were denied by the city based completely on the content of their protest. They had to appeal to the supreme court just to get a permit.
Then a bunch of BLM and antifa scumbags showed up to "counter protest" but of course THEY didn't need a permit. Then the police that were originally numbering 2:1 to the first protestors mysteriously vanished, and were told to stand down.
So of course violence ensued and escalated, up to the point where some people got mowed over, then a state of "emergency" was called, and the people protesting the statue being taken down never got their peaceful protest.
The one person dies. Even better. Out of thousands of people who die every day, this one death is singled out, with the media only blaming "white supremacists" and "nazis", when clearly the counter-protestors were the ones getting violent, and the real fault belongs to the city government, who purposely tried to block the first protests, did nothing about the illegal protestors, and let the whole situation get out of hand.
