I first had that when I went to Finland in 2014, before it was available in the States. I even brought an empty bottle back in my suitcase as a souvenir, praying that it wouldn't break on the way back.

A friend and I actually found it available here in Portland. We drank it at his place when we got a first listen to "The Book of Souls". Yeah, not bad at all; basically a good, solid British ale. And there's a taproom that I'll be going to right after work today that still has bottles of it in their bottle cooler. Still haven't found any of their 666 brew.

I was in Ohio two weeks ago. They had "The Trooper" in pint size cans and a Megadeth beer "A Tout le Monde" which is good too.

Three Floyds brewing, which does good craft beers, makes beers with various metal bands. I've had a couple - they were good - though I forget which bands they were associated with.

That's Bruce Dickinson, if you didn't know. Pilots the Maiden plane himself.

He might mean both but I'd bet he's done the band longer than being a pilot.

I saw Maiden in April of last year. At one point Bruce said "I have the best f**king job in the world". Could've meant piloting as well as singing for an adored band.

I'm actually surprised it got as many comments as it has. I threw it out last thing yesterday after using it as a comment on an Octavia_Melody meme. And then I used 'seagull' instead of 'albatross' which is extremely embarrassing considering as large of a fan as I am (and knowing a bit of the Coleridge poem). Sometimes flip riches gets you mere nods.

I think that Somewhere in Time is the best Iron Maiden album,but The FInal Frontier kicks ass,too.Especially "When The Wild Wind Blows"

You might be the only person I've ever heard say that. ;) I like "Somewhere in Time" too, but I do hew to the classic thought that "Killers" is best; I just think newer ones like "The Final Frontier" and "Dance of Death" are very close. I like them all, except for the period between "Seventh Son" and "Brave New World". The two late-early-period Bruce albums are more hard rock than metal, and I know nothing of Blaze Bailey.
