The ol' "minimum wage" myth. There's so much evidence proving hikes in minimum wage *cause* unemployment only a Liberal or academic can't understand it.

Then again, all of human history testifies to the utter failures of socialism and communism, yet we still have blithering idiots that, somehow, believe they can still work.

I think Liberals actually believe this. It's often an "all or nothing" attitude, which often results in nothing.

Forbes published an article about the restaurants in SanFran closing because of the wage hike... but Google has blocked it from opening in searches.

They are about to implement this where I live (Ontario, Canada) next year. I can't wait to see the spectacular failure this is going to be, especially coupled as it is with huge increases in electricity bills, house prices, a looming carbon tax, and a small increase in interest rates (the first of many to be expected).
