Not enough meme templates on tap for commenting. What's the answer?

I just save the images I want to my downloads, then when I use them, I save to my imgflip library in "my templates" so I can use the unpopular ones anytime.....

Yeah, but my idea is to avoid doing all that work manually. You should get a "my templates" section with thousands of them already there.

It's a lot of work ,but you can do it . You can save as many of your own templates as you want . I have so many it takes forever to pick one out .

Yes, it's a lot of work. I want imgflip.com to save me all that work. If what I am describing were a feature of imgflip pro, I would probably pay for it.

There's a lot to wade through if you use search all when looking for templates. Not sure if you've seen the template memestream imgflip.com/m/templates and also a couple lists of bad pun templates in the comments here imgflip.com/i/16f0rp

The problem comes when you are in a comment thread. If you do an "add meme" reply, then try the "search all memes" feature, you lose your connection to the comment thread in the process. Yes, I've seen the template memestream you mention. That's the collection I wish was "on tap" somehow, without having to do it manually.

Thanks, AndrewFinlayson, I knew that trick. Just wish you could search up a meme and not have to stretch it.

Use a "single black line":

1. Create a new image.
2. Set the width to 2000.
3. Fill it in all black.
4. Set the height to 1.
5. Save it.
6. Upload it. Be sure to click on make it available and name it so it gets added to your templates.
7. It shows in your My Templates as a black square, but the name will be right.
8. Add Image below it and you can search for anything on Imgflip.

I just tried it. That was pretty good, but here's the difference: I would like to be able to browse all the meme templates, not just search them. If you are searching, you have to know what you are looking for. When I'm commenting, I know basically what I want to say, then I go looking for a meme template that best expresses what I had in mind. I won't know what it is until I see it, so I can't really search it.

Also, you can't just keep plugging templates into your My Templates. After a certain number, the oldest one disappears each time you add one.

I never counted before now, but it's 200.

Wow, thanks, I never would have known that. I don't have that kind of time to figure that out. But imagine having an expanded My Templates area that's already loaded with 10,000 of the best meme templates. Would you join imgflip pro if THAT was the incentive? I would.
