Wrong. The rifle was an SKS, which is not illegal nor automatic. It is a semi-automatic rifle that holds 10 rounds. It is only illegal if YOU are not legally allowed to own it due to a felony arrest or mental deficiency or some other just cause.

Wouldn't that be a reason against all laws?

True, I got curious one day to see if I could buy a gun on the street 5 offers in 1 afternoon in a mildly shady part of town.
