Now you were stupid enough to say that we use the old testament for our source of law, and that tells me you've never even touched a bible outside of your little lefties united group burnings of them, the law is based on the unbiased view of the founding fathers, who explicitly said that it america was a country of free religion, not a christian country. The 10 commandments are a HELLUVA lot different from the nullified (nullified by the Christ's death on the cross) rules stated in Leviticus and Numbers. Few rules from the old testament still stand and the stoning your wife for cheating part is not one of the rules that still stands. The old testament wasn't left in the bible to provide a source of law it was left in there because the people in there deserve to be remembered for their hardships. Just like you don't just forget about the confederates that stood up for independence and died fighting for it. We're not backwards, your brain is.
