There was a Mecum auto auction in town this weekend. Watched part of it on TV last night. They sold a restored 1965 (I think) Shelby Mustang for $435,000. That would buy a lot of beer.

It was pretty and all-original restoration. But I wouldn't pay that for a car. But I also don't drive. Irony: I don't drive but I'm a huge NASCAR fan and I watch 'car porn' when I can. :P

I swear Atlanta moved to Seattle, it has rained here everyday for the last 3 weeks! Yesterday and today (so far) have been the exception! It was in the 60's last night, which is unheard of in the summer months!

Might explain why the Pacific Northwest has been humid and hot the past few days. You can have it back. We did just have a cloudburst here about an hour ago. Usually this time of year we're 82, partly sunny, and breezy, which is perfect for Portland.

Lol. Got internet back, modem went bad, got a newer better one. AT&T wired our neighborhood with their new "Fiber" cable whatever, supposedly it's the newest, fastest thing going, they haven't turned it on yet, but when they do, they're going to switch is over to that. What do we do in the heat and humidity down here? Sit and drink sweet tea till it gets cool enough to do anything! Which means we wait till fall! Lol. :)

That'll mean the porn downloads will be extra crisp? ;P We had 100+ degree days both Saturday and Sunday. It's now down into the more normal 70s. I'm just glad I wasn't working those days, it can suck when it's extra hot on the dock.
