Anything really change in my absence?

MoonYu2 and Shabbyroses deleted, I think tokinjester, TammyFaye, Lightinthedark Juicydeath are rare to never to be seen, hokeewolf was gone for a while but came back recently. Raydog will roll the matrix icon in a week or so. I've been thinking about taking a break, but can't stay away. A couple Jeffrey templates have shown up, one today, another one about six weeks ago. They are a shock when they scroll into view:)

TammyFaye got fed up with the same crap I did, I know about Juicy spending more time on KnowYourMeme than here, sad to hear about tokin and LITD.

My activity is going down on here as well. I honestly think this site is just getting worse and worse. I really hope it just goes back to the old Imgflip...

tj and litd are around occasionally, but not like they used to be.

Bummer to see the good ones go. Tammy would have gotten my vote for memer of the year. Two 400+ upvotes memes?! She's got a rare talent for making some truly great, original memes.

Me and Tammy had a few good conversations. I really hope she'll come back. Even while I'm a boy, I honestly got SO annoyed with everything that was going on. It was all about getting your theme week. Cleavage Week, Yoga Pants Week, NSFW filth week, and there was even almost a panties week! Honestly, it's kind of demeaning.

I really hate the way Imgflip is turning out, and hope it'll go be to being a variety of memes on the front page of different things rather than theme week memes. Glad to see you returning!

That was YOU? Thank you is all I can say. Obviously, this is no site for sexy stuff. The only reason I would tolerate it is if it had some sort of funny context or caption. But people like MyMemesAreTerrible literally just put that kind of stuff with no context. Yesterday I saw a meme of his called "Titties!" You could probably guess what it was. No context, no caption, no nothing, Just that.

Yes, after consulting with all the female memers I could think of it was an overwhelming majority who said no way. Imagine a new user coming to the site at the time, thinking that's what this site is about. I'm sure we lost potential new memers during that time. When I see trash like what you're talking about it gets an instant downvote. If people want to see boobs, the internet is 99% porn anyways, there's better places to see it than imgflip.

You just brought up a great point. New memers come to the site and see that kind of stuff, and think that's what the site is all about. Juicydeath brought up that point in Tammy's meme. If he wanted stuff like that, he'd just go to google. If I were a guy coming to this site for the first time and it was during cleavage week, I would find it disgusting and just never visit again! And there is a 99% chance that someone actually did do that.

It's pretty disappointing. Like I said, I just want it to go back to the old imgflip.
