well, what I hauled was the liquid! Usually around 350 degrees, sure didn't wanna get any on you and if you did the worse thing you can do is try to wipe it off lol! And you better make damn sure there's no water in the tanker! A gallon of water will make a hundred gallons of steam and it's gonna come out and not gonna be good! If there's water in the tank it will sound like bacon frying! The only thing you can do is load a little close the lid without latching it and pull forward and backward stopping hard and every time it will blow the lid up and release some steam till you get it out! Had a miller driver got killed at hunt refinery one day he loaded a wet tank and was closing the lid and that crap blew out on him and covered him up!

Oh, oh, Ok! In big high mounted tanker trailers! That's like hauling any thing else! I was of course thinking e complete road making with aggregates ready to slap down on the road! So, there was a terminal here in Atlanta for that?

Yep, It's on a road just before you get to 285 then back south can't remember the name of it, but it was back south and I remember going past some strip clubs lol! I used to haul seal down out of Eldorado Ark at Lion Oil for the Tamko shingle plant here in Tuscaloosa, it loaded at 475 degrees which is real close to its flash point! That's the stuff that's is the dark 3" strip that seals them down on the roof! Everything I pulled was hazardous material, gas, diesel, mineral spirits, methanol, Jet fuel to the airbase in Columbus Ms. I loved it.;)

My uncle was Mr. Danger! He just got back from a mission there, God, he was shot down 3-4 times, still wakes up in the middle of the night, every night, but he's an animal! Your life so far would make an excellent country song! Lol. :)

Gosh Evilman thanks for that, but I couldn't be compared to a man of such courage and bravery! I am grateful and thankful for his and all men that have served Our Country! I have nothing but respect for him, May God Bless him in every way and all your family! :)

I used to load asphalt over there sometimes! We had a contract with a company in Cartersville! Delivered a lot of asphalt and mineral spirits there! And used to go through there with loads going to Rock Hill SC. and up into Virgina! always made sure I got in and out early and come back through late! :)

Asphalt is something I've never done, trucked, installed or even touched for that matter, f**k that stuff!! Lol.

A friend had a 97 F-150 4.6L V-8, auto he had to get rid of, mechanically sound, needs windshield, drivers side window glass and rear glass. $500! Lol A mutual friend was paying him payments and he couldn't hack it, his girlfriend (who's actually my nieces drug addict grandma) trashed it and broke the 3 windows in it, but it's so easily and cheaply fixed! Hell yea! I love a great deal!! :)

Now my brother found this while giving this guy an estimate for tree work. It sat for 4 years, I just replaced the front calipers and pads plus the flexible brake lines from the caliper to the frame on both sides, passed emissions and got a tag for it today......$300! Damn! There's a little tree work in the deal but if your guys are there already, its nothing, he just really wanted the $300 cash! :)
