Your facts are all over the map. Are you talking state and local, or Federal? Because many states don't even have income taxes at all. There are so many different kinds of taxes, that you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. You want to cherry-pick your statistics to support your argument, fine. I can do that too.

2. If an *illegal* has a SSN then it's someone else's SSN that they've stolen, or they wouldn't be illegal now would they? Or are you having a hard time making the distinction (as those on the left often do) between *legal* aliens and *illegal* aliens?

3. Most "wealthy" (< 500K NW) don't actually earn "wages", but they pay hella CGT and AMT rates. The FACT is, the top 1% pay 24% of all taxes collected by the IRS.

4. If labor unions didn't price the American workforce out of the labor market by demanding extravagant benefit packages, companies wouldn't need to move overseas for competitive labor.

2. I'm not having a hard time making the distinction . I know people that use illegal immigrants for labor and they have fake/dead people SS#'s so to the employer, they are as legit as they need to be. AND the workers are paying into the system on all federal/local/SS/Medicare taxes any legal person would but they will never get the payout. Years ago the government gave business owners the ability to assume any credible looking document was legit This took the liability (and accountability) off the employers to make sure the workers were truly LEGAL. You want to stop illegal immigrants? Go after and jail the EMPLOYERS. That'll stop it all real fast.
