Excellent point. That being said, for me, conceal-ability is an issue. I can make my 1911 disappear under a waistband and I've never had anyone detect it. And for me, concealed carry is an every day issue. Without the pistol, it's a naked feeling just like one would feel if they weren't wearing pants. I live in a wilderness area with bears and other predators. It is also an area that is so sparsely populated that there are no police for many miles.
