I've got me some Tomatoes planted, need to plant some cukes and peppers! I always buy my seeds online, got some of the auto flowers this year gonna see how they do! I enjoy working and playing in the dirt! Lol :)

Of course I was wondering where 3 of my Earthboxes went, they were commandeered! Lol. There's a tomato plat, 2 strawberry plants, Rosemary, basil, chives. They really enjoy helping my dad cook. My parents have custody of my nieces because my brother is a f**k up! Im here because my parents are in their 70's raising a 6 and 12 year olds, plus my dad has got behind on house maintenance, an honestly, there's a lot to do!

I don't have a garden in the ground, I've been using these boxes called "Earthbox" (earthbox.com) for over 15 years. Check it out for shits and giggles. You have box that has plastic over the top and the plants poke though, the watering tube fills 3 or so inches of the bottom and anything you put in these things grows like wildfire and huge! I got them when I first got married, the house had absolutely no place for a garden but had a big ass deck, and I was hooked! Lol

Thanks, awesome Evilman! It's great to grow things on your own, always taste better, and the kids are learning, that's great! I Pray your Brother turns his life around my friend! It's good the children are with the family! I have nothing but respect for you Evilman! You're an awesome son! :)

I'm gonna have to look into this Earthbox thing! This could very useful hahaha! Before my wife passed and we lived in town! I had an awesome garden spot! But up here on this hill, Just that damn red clay and sand I have one spot I fixed for my maters, but don't plant near the stuff I used to :)

It's definitely one of the neatest things, I swear by them, if you do what the directions tell you to, you can't mess it up! They're watered from the bottom, you use planting soil, I use that Miracle Grow soil, you put the fertilizer on top of the soil but underneath the plastic cover, it sweats into the soil, slowly, time released. Whatever you plant will grow like a rocket! You water them every other day in the beginning, 3 tomato plants in one box during the mid summer into August and September those 3 plants will during 3 gallons a day, that's how fast they grow, that's a bunch of water, but the payback is amazing!

I didn't see how much they are now, but it was like just under $25 per box delivered, something like that, just the "Basic box deal" they had. It paid for itself halfway through the first summer, if not earlier! Shit, those boxes you saw are over 15 old! (Dad didn't set them up right, but even that doesn't matter they still grow like weeds!) and you saw that you can't even overfill them, they're idiot proof! I'm happy to have turned you on to it, I love them, and I've been using them for quite a while! :)

Yeah, first thing I noticed was that they are really inexpensive, and like you said they pay for themselves! Got to have some Lol :)

Set them up once, no tilling, or tiller for that matter, no weeding, just feed them water
