Here's a Star Trek discovery: The original Star Trek pilot had a completely different cast and flopped. It would have died right there, but Lucille Ball loved the concept and pushed for a redo with another cast, and history was made! Thank you, Vitameatavegamin Girl!

True. The only cast member to be in the pilot and the series was Leonard Nimoy.

Lucy really helped out TOS? That's cool. I knew about Pike and the pilot eps. I hope Discovery comes out soon. I want to see their take on Trek.

The original series. TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT. And Discovery will probably be DSC or DSY. I like DSC better.

Gotcha. I really liked TNG and Voyager. Couldn't get into the other 2. Who's in Discovery?

I googled "what's on 2nd" and found this thrift store in Birmingham, Alabama. They sell Star Trek stuff, too, fittingly!

All I've seen of it is the ship. And that it's based on a concept from the guy that did the Star Wars concepts. I should probably do a search for the cast.

In my opinion this is what's wrong with Discovery.

Yeah that triangular part and the nacelles looks too much like a Klingon ship. And kind of like a Valkyrie jet. Maybe that's not a final design? And I think I heard that the show will jump around eras. But that's a rumor.
