My grandfather was a big Cleveland Indians fan. When I go over to the house to visit, him and grandma would be at the table, watching the radio as the announcer called the plays. This was in the 70s. I don't think Grandpa ever bothered with Cable.
That's a great mental picture. We must be about the same age. I knew older people in the 1970's that rarely watched TV either and would rather listen to radio.

Youngstown. My boy still lives there with his family, and I have a couple brothers, a sister. A lot of nieces and nephews for generations.
