Exactly. I think the idea I was trying to express is that if everyone upvotes when they find something funny, you will also be receiving some upvotes (from others who are likewise upvoting what they find funny) on a few of your creations, and maybe one on the front page once in a while.
I never meant to offend anyone. I was only trying to sound like one of the old 1950s educational films. (see the last panel about not getting offended and just having fun)
When I upvote, it is because I find it funny or creative, not because of who had made the image or comment. But I can see how what I had written can be misunderstand and lead to paranoia.
Just keep trying to make funny memes, Lessfriss. Not all my stuff does as well as I think it will, but once in a while something I make will do well. (if I was a clique, wouldn't all my memes get lots of upvotes?)
