Community colleges exist to teach the bare bones education that people need, be it a technical skill like automotive repair of electronics or office procedures. It also helps with bringing students up to speed on other courses they require for college level study.
What associates degree are you pursuing now? Pursue that. This will help gain you entry in a four year University, where you can pursue a higher degree and make those ties you want for future career. This is the time to learn the discipline you need to succeed in college. Ask your Councillor about the washout rate in community colleges versus the washout rate in universities. Work out a career plan.
My personal circumstances lead me to settle for an ASc with assorted certificates within my field, but then, I had a family to support and worked 40-60 hours a week as well as attending school full time. I never was bored.
You may want to see if your councilor can help you find employment in your field, even part time. You'll understand why do many classmates don't hang around after school. I rarely had time after class to socialize. Not with having to get up for work at 5 in the morning.
Hate me, downvote me, but your meme shows a lack of maturity needed. Example: classes are boring. How many times have you made the deans list since starting. I only did that once, but I persevered. I chose electives that could help me, even if they didn't make sense to others.
For now, until you've put a little experience in academics at the college level, I'd recommend staying where you're at. You want a party campus, but you're not ready for it, yet.
