Trucking company took me in after insurance company tossed my ass out after 10 years.

The most impressive thing I see truckers do is their reverse manuevers. How they reverse down narrow lanes and into narrow premises is amazing.

I know. I always wanted to drive but could never get the back up skills down. I could drive thru cities, highways but for the life in me could not back them up.

I was told I'd never be anything but a ditch digger...first job was as a ditch digger earning $10/hour when minimum wage was $3.35. Always gives me a smirk.

Thanks for getting me too the front page. My Dad was a truck driver. Took many trips from Pa. to California hauling produce mostly. Was a blast. I miss it

Just want to put this out here, Octavia_Melody and lightinthedark would both relate to this meme because you can probably guess why. I'm surprise they haven't left a comment for this yet, but I could understand if they are busy with their work.

Anyways, my microeconomics professor was talking about some careers that would be most beneficial and one the choices was truck drivers which surprised me.
