Congrats to the winner! :D "What the flux" is also how stained glass artists swear. I know that first hand from my mistakes. :)

I'll take my easel out on the beach and paint. Most of the paintings that I do indoors are beach scenes as well :-)

And I miss it too. Need to get back at creating soon. It's a hobby for me too. Time to inhale some flux fumes to get some crazy meme ideas. :)

Good luck with your workspace. I also do oil paintings on seashells for a small store in North Carolina, and got to get busy! I go there around the beginning of May. I just set up my paint stuff on our dining room table, it's more comfortable in there :-)

Wish I could paint on a beach. Wish I could paint at all. :D That sounds so awesome to be able to do that. My work area is crammed in the back storage area of the basement because the rest of the basement is carpeted.

Our cellar was half finished when we bought it. The work bench in the back is ok for drilling holes in the seashells and stuff, but it's too cold down there now. Plus, I have crap galore in that part of the cellar, which isn't very inspiring :-)

Why do I picture this? ;)

I've feel like smashing glass from time to time. Do you wanna know what's harder than soldering? Unsoldering!!! On one project I soldered a side panel on backwards and had to keep melting the solder along the seam until the panel finally came loose. Then I had to pull off all of the copper foiling with a pliers, wash off the glass and start all over. For the most part I enjoy it. :)

My impatience is the only thing stronger than my laziness. I work on a receiving dock; something comes in I deliver it, no need to go back and fix things. I was visiting with my mom the other night and she was knitting. Every once in a while she realized she had the wrong stitch or whatever somewhere and she pull out all the work she'd done until she got to it. I asked her how she had the patience to do it all over. I think she knits to relax but I'm just glad I didn't get her genetic perfectionism.

Well I think the whole neighborhood heard me yell that day. :D

I work alone, mostly outside. Yelling "SH!T" every once in a while doesn't fall on tender ears. ;)

It's fun and I lose track of time when I'm working on a project. :)
