I Always Forget Something

Not to seem too technical, but the expiration date is only the guarantee of 100% freshness for food, or maxim potency in case of medicines. With the exception of perishables, food may be eaten safely after that date. So what do they do with over-expired food? Ship is abroad, of course. This is not illegal

I eat expired food all the time. Even vegetables I get from the grocer for my animals for free, are often better than what's in my fridge....so I eat it myself !! (Sometimes) :)
