My view as someone who lives close to the US/Canada border.

I was originally from
Washington state and learned to drive in snow on old logging roads in a 1946 Willys Jeep.... at about 10 years of age... moved to Mississippi as an adult.

Although I live near the US/Canada border, I did travel for a living and spent quite a bit of time in the south. I will never forget the looks of sheer panic and freaking out.

I dont even keep "tire chains" on the truck... im FB... if i need chains for snow ill use my log chains and wrap em just to get me unstuck.

I loved my VW diesel Jetta. 50 mpg. But just sold it back to VW because of the emissions fiasco.

I've seen mud-slides, earthquakes, flas floods, wild fires, tornados, etc. Personally, I'll gladly take a blizzard any day of the week. But the prevailing attitude in the South is very different from the reality that I know and that you know a1508a.

It snowed here in the Virginia Beach area last week about 4 inches and it was the end of the world for 3 days. Glad I had a stockpile of beer! Lol.

I live up the road in Williamsburg. Oh, the fun I had watching the cars spin.
