If you pay $100 a month, how come most people in the U.S. (who support government health care) claim that health care in Canada is free. What if you don't have $100? Are there co-pays for visits?
Also I would like to point out that we do have government run healthcare in the U.S., we just don't ONLY have government run healthcare care. Those in government run healthcare in the U.S. get off of it if they can afford to, because it is a disaster. (I've been on it and the idea of being stuck with no other options terrifies me. It is run by people too stupid to stagger apointments throughout the day. I had made an appointment for my son's booster vaccine, which is literally a fifteen minute appointment. After waiting an hour past my appointment time, I asked the receptionist why it was taking so long. She treated me like I was the idiot, as she informed me everyone's appointment was at the exact same time. I waited over two hours, not before being seen, but before deciding to wait the month until I became eligible for my employer subsidised care (I work and I had other errands to run). I don't know about how it is in Canada, but in the U.S. you will never be treated more rudely than by government workers who are usually also incompetent at their jobs. That's not who I want providing my healthcare.)
