And let's not get started with the hijack ads.

I know there's nothing wrong with my eyesight. The junk mail of the internet. Grrr!

I stopped going metacafe a long time ago because they had advertisers that literally would hijack you. Your page starts to load, then suddenly, your on a site that telling you that you just got a virus from a site you visited, but for o ly $59.95, they'll clean that virus for you.

I hate getting redirected. Then I avoid those web pages too. Worse yet are the fake warnings that you can't back out of and end up having to turn off your PC. Unless I'm missing another way to get out of that mess.

On my phone, I use the back key, but on the computer, I use the escape key.

I've had situations where the escape key does not work. Then I just shut down my PC. It's been a quite while since that has happened Windows 10 has been pretty good, so far, as far as internet security goes. I can choose the read only setting to view web pages while using Microsoft Edge and all the ads disappear. But I still prefer Google Chrome. It's faster.

I have chrome on my phone, but always liked Firefox. When I get internet on the computer, though, I'll have to figure out which one I want ie to download.
