I killed my Gall bladder 4 years ago lol strange story about the MIL though. She had her appendix "taken" out 2 years ago after it ruptured. The surgeon told my hubby, myself, his sisters and brothers, and their spouses tht her stomach looked like a grenade exploded inside. She spent 5 days in the hospital after the surgery with a drainage tube in her side releasing the infection, and he assured us he got it all. We found out Thursday that he didn't touch her appendix the first time. Instead he drained the abcess, and cleaned her stomach out and closed her up. They are looking into it as malpractice now. He got paid for an appendix removal. The on call surgeon Thursday night was ticked! He said the chances of her appendix rerupturing were so rare that the first guy probably figured no one would ever know the difference. Ridiculous!
