All I know is they did a photo shoot in our conference room.

It's for the better, with us. She chose to be a grandma over being a wife. I was forced to start over, so I did.

At least it wasn't the case of getting something on the side or spousal abuse. Alcohol wasn't the factor. Or drugs.

The nice thing is that two of our 3 kids, and their daughters, have come closer since then. Ive not said a bad word about her, but they will. Upon hearing we separated, my son told me "it's about time." He couldn't see how I could stand it as long as I did, but I'm a passionate man, in my way. I really loved her, and that's why I didn't leave. That's why I refused to be with another woman until the divorce was final.

How does one choose to be a GM over a wife? Huh?

Like I said, I had to build a new life, and in doing so, had to take an apartment, with lease, added my cats, and basically moved on. If she wanted to reconcile, she'd have to move out of my daughter's house and wouldn't be available for the grandsons 24/7. She chose to stay with the kids. I love my grandsons, but, like our other children, they need to be raised by their parents. If a grandkid wants a visit eieth the grands, that's one thing. If the kids need a little help. Cool. But you can't rely 100% on the old folks. Our other kids choose to raise their kids without the constant interference of mom and dad. I suspect when the boys get older and have left home, they'll visit their Grandpa, but now. Their mom and grandma won't let them see me.

Weird. But I understand.

Funny thing, since our youngest daughter and granddaughters have a stronger relationship with me since the breakup, my wife suddenly wants to bond with the girls. She's having a tough time because she totally rejected their close friend that has Down Syndrome. The girl is like a sister to them. Me? I don't have a problem. I visit, she gives me a big hug and calls me Grandpa. The girl's parents are shocked I treat her like a normal person. Not used to that. The last argument my wife and I had was why I was allowed to have the girls spend the night. I told her it was because of her rejection of their friend. Neither one of us raised our voices, and I won't say o won, but the next time they invited the girls for something, they made sure that the friend was invited as well.

Wish you the best Swiggy. Sorry to hear things turned out like me they did. No kids, but getting told we were divorcing out of the blue shook my world to its core after only 7 years. I came to realize it was actually for the better and told people I was happily divorced. Then mrs church came into my life and it's the best thing to happen to me. If we're not laughing we're probably not in ear shot of each other. She encourages me to use imgflip because how happy it makes me. She loves reading comment threads on my memes and read through every single one on this meme. If you ever want to talk she says I'm a good listener.

Fortunately, our kids are grown, so no child support, and Indiana doesn't have an alimony law. She wanted it, and somehow, she got the money to pay for it. I suspect our oldest footed the bill. She encouraged her mom to dump me. Our other two may have chipped in had they been asked, but to help me gain my freedom.

I'm pretty good at closing chapters in my life. I can still look at it fondly, though.

Lol, I haven't come close to slipping with your name, but I had to delete a comment a month or two ago. As soon as I posted it I realized I used mrs ghost's name!
