Hamilton is not racist. It was made by a Puerto Rican who wanted minorities to be represented in musical theatre because most musical theatre does not have any good, interesting, or main roles for POC (People of Color). It is not about not liking white people. It's about standing up for POC. Not only that but white people are in the show. Just because they aren't the main character doesn't mean they're not in the show. Musical theatre is supposed to be about acceptance, that is what Lin was doing. Lin-Manuel Miranda also wanted to have POC relate to the history of the United States from other aspects other than slavery and maids who were beaten to death. This show is not racist. It represents the opposite. It represents representation and acceptance. Did you know that the US did not formally apologize for slavery until there was a black president? It probably never would have happened if not for Obama being elected. Don't sit here and act like you are underprivileged you heterosexual, cis gender, white, male.

Sorry, a "non-white" casting call IS racist. It is specifically singling out a specific race for exclusion. How much more racist can you get? You can not like the truth but that doesn't change things. Imagine if they put out a "non-black" or "non-Asian" casting call.
