Thanks to MemesterMemesterson, OlympianProduct, and other users who helped find out information to update the meme.
Cheers - Skål :)
12-16 years before The Democrats they are back in power.:)
Thanks for checking out the meme!
It's basically just an update of a meme from about a year back that I thought might be helpful for people to see again.
Also, if anyone knows other ways you can get points on imgflip, it would be great to see comments with that information. :)

Any similarity to any real website, living or dead, is purely coincidental. :D

Yup, I remember those.
(I like the bunny, by the way. )
(I actually thought it was a rabbit.)
I guess the short version is that you'll get a few points just by being active (making memes and comments), but you'll get lots more points if people are upvoting what you post. :)

I've been on Imgflip for over a year.
:/
I think you get the same points for upvotes on memes you post anonymously, but I'm not sure.
Thanks for taking a look. :)
So the only points a user can take away from you are points they themselves gave you.
If a person just sees your meme or comment and downvotes it, it seems to have no effect on your score.
That's the best information I have up to this time. :)
You can download the image if you want for reference. That's what I did with the last one.
Good news: unlimited submissions.
Bad news: someone actually has to find the memestream before they can see your memes.
You can make one:

Views may help you gain points in an indirect way, since they may form part of the algorithm that decides how high a meme will rise in Hot. And the higher it is in Hot, the more likely it is that people will see it and upvote it.
But it doesn't follow that if a user's meme or comment has a high number of views, that that user will have a higher number of points. I don't believe there is a direct way that views contribute to your point total. Hope that helps. :)
Thank you Socrates.
Much respect. :)
